Zentangle and calligraphy go hand in hand. Naturally, since zentangle was created by none other than Maria Thomas, scribe extraordinaire, and her partner, Rick.
Every year I create a handmade present for everyone on my Christmas List. Last year I did homemade vanilla with calligraphed labels. The previous year I made these zentangle and calligraphy coaster sets. (True confession: these didn’t actually go to *everyone* on the list because they were rather expensive but quite a few on the list received a set.) I had so much fun making these. I wish I could find a vendor to make them less expensively than for what I paid as I would love to offer them in an Etsy shop or something.
In the meantime, guess what … I am giving away one of these limited number of sets for free! Between the forum’s opening date of 10/27/2013 until we reach 100 members (or midnight December 31, 2013 – whichever comes first), every eligible member who joins the forum will be entered. (*See Official Rules & details below.) I know we can do this! Even if it takes us some time!
So tell all your calligraphy and zentangle friends – great things are happening on The Flourish Forum!
Truly,
Erica
